Step 1. Create Option Set

Option Set = a set of options that you can use for specific products.

Step 1.1. In the Option Set tab, click on Create Option Set.



Step 1.2. After clicking on Create Option Set, a new Option set will show up. You can edit the Option Set's name here.



Click on Add Option to create a new option in your Option Set.



Click on Select From Option Template to use the Option Template that you have created.


Step 1.3. Fill in all the option detail needed here then hit Save to finish the Option setup.



These are the terms you will see and what they mean:
* Option name
The Option name will not display on the storefront product page. This data is shown on the back end only and can help you keep options organized.
* Label on Product:
The Label on Product is the title for your option. It is the text appearing above the option field on the storefront product page.

* Label on Cart:
The Label on Cart is the text appearing on the Cart summary screen, Checkout, and Order detail page, next to what customers have inputted or selected for the option. This value needs to be unique for each and every one of your options.

* Option Type:
The Option Type includes 10 types that you can choose according to your needs: Radio Buttons, Checkboxes, Drop-Down Menu, Swatch, Text, Large text, Number, DateTime, Color Picker, and File Upload.


You can save the option you just created to the Option Template list and use it for other Option Sets in the future.


1.4. Apply the Option Set to all products or a group of products by clicking on All product/ Manual/ Automated.



If you click on All product then this Option Set will show on all products in your store.



If you click on Manual then this Option Set will only show on certain chosen products.



If you click on Automated then this Option Set will show on all products that satisfy the setup conditions.



You can choose Product title/ type/ vendor/ tag/ price/ Collection to set up conditions to show this Option Set.



You can find the Product title/ type/ vendor/ tag/ Collection in the Product section of your Shopify Admin page.



Tick the checkbox in the Required column to make options compulsory. Customers cannot skip required options to proceed with adding products to Cart.

The required option will show on the product page with a red asterisk.


1.5. Click on Save to finish the Option Set setup.



--> If you have activated the app in the theme, you can see them on the storefront now!

Now you can check your great work on the storefront!
